Who is this for?

• Parents, coaches, and players. Boys and girls. Anyone who wants to get a better understanding of their stick. 

This is NOT a stringing course, but a resource to better understand the importance of a well strung stick for the Spring Season.

• What is my goal for this presentation 

• Understand the break in process

• What is “whip”? What is release timing? 

• What is channel in a stick?

• Types of mesh? 

• Adjusting pocket depth??

• Adjusting release feel?

• Head rattle? How to fix it!

• You NEED a good back up

• How to tie good simple knots

• What to do when a string breaks and you don't have a kit?

• Preventative maintenance 

• Taking your questions! 

What you need to have with you:

• Your stick! Well you don't REALLY need it, but it would be helpful for you to have it with you so you can look at during the presentation. 

What to do AFTER The Stick Check?

• Lars will send out a google form after the session, in this form he will ask for you name, some basic contact information, and there will be an option for you to upload some pictures of your stick that you want me to take a look at! He will then get back to you with what you may or may not need to do with your stick, and the next steps!
